This is someone's wedding Mum and Dad attended (Mum on the right). I would love to know whose wedding this is and if you were there?

Dad and Frank eating oysters
This is a great picture of Dad and Frank Hunter. They are brother in laws - married to sisters Jean and Eileen Stafford. I loved Uncle Frank - he was really funny!

Flowers
Karl was Nana's oldest great grandson! So he was given the honour of presenting flowers to Nana. In the picture you can see Aunty Freda (wife of Tony - from Germany), Dad, Paul, back of Karl, Nana, Aunty Bridie (Nana's sister - a real character who swore like a trooper and then told the kids it wasnt swearing in Irish!), and Aunty Muriel. So there are 4 generations in this picture - Nana, Dad/Muriel, Paul and Karl!

This as a rare sight - Dad is a city boy! Is it on a visit to Ballymote?

Frank, Bill(Dad), Muriel and Tony
This is a rare rare photo of the Phillips kids (Dad's generation). They are on a beach - most probably near Dublin as that is where they lived. Dad is 70 now and looks about 12 in the picture. Dad emigrated to England aged 14 on his own. His own Dad had left the family having suffered after active service in the second world war. This left Nana to bring up 4 children in Dublin in times there were no 'benefits'. So Dad had to go to England to find work. Every penny he had needed to be sent home to his family. Even though this is only one generation away I find this almost inconceivable. When you look at any 14 your old these days you would not be able to imagine it!

Dad - wedding Day?
I wonder if this is Dad on his wedding day. If you look at the wedding of Bill and Jean (in this album) I notice he is wearing the same tie.

Scene in Ireland?
This photo was important enough to be in Mums photo album for nearly 50 years - so I owuld love to know where it is. It was amongst photos around 1956. Does anyone recognise this place? Any bets it will be in Ireland.
